Starting April 2020, I converted my lingerie+loungewear business to a face mask production line to help ease the strain on the PPE demand.
Herelove has always been a home business, but during this pandemic, the in-house set up has evolved into a controlled environment to produce sanitary and locally made masks.
When the pandemic hit and I began mask production, the demand for masks was too high for a solo seamstress. The in-house operation expanded to include my talented mom. She still works full-time from home but uses every spare minute to sew, cut fabric, wash & package masks and now sell with me at the Collingwood Farmers' Market.
My sister recently returned home from her final semester of university and was swiftly hired into the operation in charge of shipping and customer service. She has since moved to Montreal to start her career.
We pride ourselves in being a 'pandemic-grown', family business that works hard to keep
